Today, Saturday, November 7, 2026 is the biggest food-and-community day of the month so far in San Antonio. The first Food4SA Turkey Collection runs 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at H-E-B College Park, 7330 N Loop 1604 W, San Antonio, TX 78249, and the Veterans Day Parade steps off at 12:00 noon downtown. If you need food, 10 places serve on Saturdays — and tomorrow, Sunday, that drops to just 4, so today is the day to go. Here is today, in order.
Today: the Turkey Collection is happening now (10 AM–2 PM)
Food4SA is the San Antonio Food Bank's annual November campaign (Nov 1–30), and the Turkey Collection days are its public drop-off days: bring a frozen turkey — bought on the spot at H-E-B or from home — or nonperishable food, and it goes toward a San Antonio family's holiday table.
- When: today, Saturday, November 7, 2026, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. It is a four-hour window — do not leave it to the last half hour.
- Where: H-E-B College Park, 7330 N Loop 1604 W, San Antonio, TX 78249.
- One honest note: this is a drop-off for givers, not a pickup line — there is no turkey to collect today. The turkeys collected become the holiday distributions on our holiday meals page. Background: the Nov 7 Turkey Collection guide and yesterday's weekend guide.
- Can't make today? The collection repeats Saturday, November 14 at H-E-B Leon Springs (24165 I-10, Suite 300, San Antonio, TX 78257) and Sunday, November 22 at all area H-E-B Plus! stores.
