Nobody in San Antonio should go hungry.

That's the whole mission. One sentence. Everything on this site exists to serve it.

The problem was never supply

San Antonio already has enough free food to feed everyone who needs it. The San Antonio Food Bank and its 500+ partner agencies, church pantries, community kitchens, and senior meal programs serve this city every single day.

The problem was finding it. The information lived in a dozen different places — outdated PDFs, Facebook posts from 2022, directories nobody updates. A hungry family shouldn't need detective skills to eat dinner.

What we do

  • We verify. Every listing on this site was checked on a real web page. We show you where we found it and when we checked it.
  • We keep it simple. Big buttons, plain words, no accounts, no downloads. A grandparent and a teenager should both be able to use this with no instructions.
  • We're honest about what we don't know. Hours change. That's why every page says "call before you go" — and why we never publish a listing we couldn't verify.
  • We never charge the hungry. This site is free forever for the people looking for food. Sponsors and partners keep the lights on — they never pay for better placement.

What's next

We're just getting started. On the roadmap: more verified listings across every San Antonio neighborhood, a Spanish version, and text-message alerts when new food distributions pop up near you.

If you run a pantry, kitchen, or meal program and want to be listed — it's free, and we'd love to hear from you.
