- Intake application plus interview required: valid photo ID; proof of residency in the service area (Converse, Universal City, Schertz, Cibolo, Selma, Garden Ridge, Marion, China Grove, St. Hedwig and adjacent unincorporated Bexar County outside San Antonio city limits); household income at or below the Metropolitan Area Poverty level or TANF/SNAP/unemployment documentation; Social Security numbers for household members. Out-of-area applicants may receive groceries one time
